 The state of Michigan is in the midst of serious economic trouble, probably the worst crisis in our lifetime.

 Michigan is in peril. The state is in one of the worst crises of our lifetime. Wayne County is impeded from growing due to uncertainty in the auto industry. The good news is that there's been a steady, consistent trend toward better news.

 We cannot have a full economic recovery, we cannot ensure the security of this country, while the states are in the midst of the worst fiscal crisis in half a century. Direct aid to cash-strapped states is perhaps the most direct way to immediately jump-start an ailing economy.

 He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. This is one of the worst (economic) crises of our lifetime, we're facing not the worst winter but a winter that never ends.

 I?m just tired. That was rough. Those last 10 seconds were a lifetime, as usual against Michigan State.

 Right after us (in '08), they have Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. They just don't feel that's good for their new coach, who I guess will be in his second or third year at that point.

 A tie on the road at Michigan State wasn't the worst result. It's not going to hurt us if we can take something out these three games.

 I found trouble against Michigan State, because I underestimated them. I definitely made mistakes I shouldn't have, because they have a strong team and are competitive.

 We knew it was going to be a tough game. Michigan State was not going to go down easily. They fought back. They're down one goal. A bounce one way and all of a sudden it's in the net, and we could be sitting here wishing Michigan State good luck.

 I had a wonderful four years at Michigan State and they did a great job preparing me for the NHL. We played tough competition so it was pretty easy for me to step right in when I went to the NHL. I went directly to the NHL and quite a few other Michigan State players have done the same thing.

 And you wonder why people go nuts over the polls: Notre Dame goes from unranked to No. 10 after defeating Pittsburgh (now 0-3) and Michigan. Then, Michigan State defeats Notre Dame in South Bend and Notre Dame drops to No. 16 in Sunday's AP poll, one slot ahead of … Michigan State!
