 I don't know, ... I don't know if he'll make a good closer. I would say he has the stuff to make a good closer, but does he have the command? I don't know. That remains to be seen. The guy's been pitching for 10-plus years professionally and he always has a high walk total. I'm not sure that lends itself to the closer role.

 You can't have an outstanding bullpen without an outstanding closer, unless one of those guys in your legitimate bullpen becomes a closer. You build it around your closer.

 They've got some good arms over there. No question (they miss Halladay). But I like their team. They catch it pretty well. They got a little power and they put the ball in play. They've got a deep bullpen. Without those guys getting hurt, they're a lot closer.

 There are 16 teams where their closer spot is up in the air right now. It's a pretty good year to be a free-agent closer.

 Trevor is a very competitive person and he's experienced in that role. As a sophomore, we tried him as a starter, but he just seemed to work better in that closer role.

 He's throwing really well. He's taken over the closer's role right now, and he's good. He's got a good fastball, good breaking ball. He's throwing strikes. He's made our bullpen stronger.

 Our goal is 365 days a year, 24-hour activity and we're getting closer and closer. Lots of good things coming down the line, this being one of them.
