 We definitely earned the respect of every team in the conference. We beat the first, second, and third place teams in the conference the second time through the schedule.

 To beat these guys you have to play almost a flawless game. Give them credit, they made a few more plays than we did tonight. We're not happy with the result. We're going to fight hard to win all our other conference games so when they come to our place it means something.

 I was so disappointed when we lost to them at our place. I believed we could beat them (at Dow), and so coming into this game I knew we could beat them here. ...  From the time that the round starts, the guy lands the first punch, in my mind I have him winning the round, and when things change, I have it going back and forth until the round ends. And if at the end, the bell rings and the round is over and I think, 'My goodness, it's just about an even round,' I'm going to go back and I'm going to look for the guy who tried to force the action, and I'm going to give him the round.

 There probably isn't anyone better I'd like to beat in the final round (than Force). You can beat someone else and they won't give you as much credit. But you win a pedal-fest against John Force and you've earned it.

 Obviously, you want to beat a cross-town team. But (what's more important) is that we're still in the hunt for the conference championship. If we'd of gotten beat tonight, there would have been no way we could have won our conference.

 We can see the difference in the way we are playing teams in the second round of district. In the first round of district, we beat Rivera 2-0. In the second round we beat them 5-0.

 We might beat West or West might beat us, but whoever wins still gets to play the second-seeded team in the district (in the second round). (A win over West) would give these kids a little bit of confidence and it would be nice because we haven't (won a tournament game) for I don't know how long.

 They're in the same conference and they've played here. Will that be an advantage? Probably. But we didn't really talk about that to the players. We don't want to give them an out. Those are things we can't do anything about.

 Even last year, when we were 12-4, we didn't get the bye week, and we had to beat Denver in the playoffs before we ever got to New England, ... That was a disadvantage for us, and an advantage for them. This start we've had has allowed us to get a jump toward getting that first-round bye, which is a real goal.

 We absolutely believe we can compete with anyone in the conference. If we play our best we can beat anyone on any give day.

 The Big 12 is always looked at as a powerhouse conference, and if we are to win this game it would give us a little more pride, a little more advantage knowing we can play with the best.

 I think New Milford realized that they were in first place in the conference and we were in second, and that motivated them. And we didn't have enough motivation to come out and beat them.
