 Freight and passenger traffic are forecast to grow in the 5 to 6 per cent range during the year but the industry is projected to record another loss of over US$4 billion for 2006.

 The industry is on track with 2006 growth expectations of 5-6 percent for both freight and passenger traffic.

 In December 2005, we had estimated the bonds issued this year to be valued at RM30 billion. But now, we believe the range will be up to RM35 billion-RM40 billion. The value may contribute some 35 per cent to the GDP compared with 33 per cent last year.

 Last year annual spending on video conferencing was estimated to be $4.3 billion. By 2005, it is projected to grow to $7.7 billion,

 A stocks-to-use ration of 8.8 percent, then, means 2006-07 year-ending stocks of 1.047 billion bushels, implying a crop of 9.966 billion bushels. That is, the market appears to be trading a 2006 corn crop that is 1.146 billion bushels, or 10.3 percent, smaller than the 2005 crop. That calculation is obviously sensitive to the forecast of use. A smaller forecast of use implies a smaller crop and vice versa.

 Islamic finance is currently the growth sector of the global financial markets. It has been growing in the range of 15 and 20 per cent over the last five years and is expected to grow at around 10 to 15 per cent over the next three year period.

 We've seen $4.1 billion in online advertising through June 30. Last year at this point, we saw $1.7 billion. When you're looking at a U.S. advertising market in the high $200 billion to $300 billion range, Internet advertising is a small part of the overall market, but it's continuing to grow.

 We estimate that after losing $4 billion pretax in 2005 and $28 billion over the past five years, the U.S. passenger airlines could approach break-even in 2006.

 Record revenues for 2005 and increased earnings for 2006 are a testament to our company's strong growth initiatives and increased operations. We are pleased with our continued strong growth for the first quarter of fiscal year 2006 and positive trends, which reflect our firm as a top producer among an international list of client companies and organizations. Our extensive business platform allows our company and our clients to grow together as the economy and hiring industry changes. We are on track for a successful 2006.

 Two years ago our industry was pegged to be an $80 billion industry, and about 5 percent of that, or $4 billion, outsourced. Some new data we looked at shows that this industry by the year 2,000 will go to about $120 billion, with about $23 billion being outsourced.
