 No, there is no concern from the I.O.C. side. Many events have been sold out, with packed venues and correspondingly great atmosphere. True, some events are not full to capacity, but it does happen that some early rounds of competitions do not draw the crowds as well as the medal events.

 One challenge is having an arena be part of a casino project and expecting events. Colleges can't play at two beautiful venues, the MGM Grand Garden and Mandalay Bay Events Center (because of the casino connections). Having another one of these will compete with them for events.

 This was a World class competition and had a championship level atmosphere with packed crowds at every session. This was a great experience for both Jessica and Troy. It was good for them to see how you need to be consistent every dive. It was a good dress rehearsal for later events they will compete in this year.

 We are often asked by event planners and visiting media why Indianapolis is continually selected to host so many national and international events. Each time, the answer remains the same: our local volunteers. Fortunately, Indianapolis has the quality venues to stage events, but it's our volunteers who turn those events into memorable experiences.

 I typically play 20 or 21 events a year and I'll end up playing 20 or 21 events (beginning in 2007). Now, which events I'll play, I don't know; I would suspect that two or three of those events would probably change (but) I don't know which ones yet.

 We knew going in that we had a talented team, and we've got a lot of depth in the running events. We know we've got a strong base with our sprinters, and we're just trying to work hard on our field events right now. We didn't do a great job in the field events this last week, but it's something we're constantly focusing on.

 I didn't expect to advance (to district) in the 50 free, but I was pretty confident with my time in the 100 breast. I guess I favor the 100 breast a little bit, but I really like both events. (Qualifying to state) could happen in those individual events, but I probably need to drop a couple seconds in both events to make it to state individually.

 It depends on the events. It's true at some events there has not been much public. We are aware of it, but we're not particularly worried.

 I think Averell Harriman is in the true sense of the word an extraordinary man. He has an infallible memory, a ceaseless curiosity, a vitality which even today at the age of eighty is superior to that of many men, probably most men half his age; and he has always occupied a front row seat at the great events, international political events, of our time.

 Our field events are going to be a real positive. They'll get us some points early and we'll start the running events in a good position.

 On the womens side, we are really starting to get some good depth. We have the ability at the MAAC Championship to final multiple kids in some events and certainly have some in the consolation events,

 We have 18 more total events, five more significant events and 13 more nonsignificant events than originally reported. These new figures are accompanied by a dramatic increase in the numbers of casualties originally calculated.

 I cleared my first two events in OK shape (a 9.35 on the bars and 9.7 on the beam) and I knew I had my best two events coming up. With my favorite events (the floor exercise and vault) still to come, I knew I had a good chance to repeat.

 Often, there has been serious concern and debate over whether I might flop in international competitions. But most of my best performances have come in major events and the best record of 6.83m was achieved at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

 Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements.
