 That's how it usually works in hockey, they almost score and we come back and bury that second goal. It was kind of a backbreaker for them, so it was a big goal for us.

 I thought in a lot of ways we played a very good game tonight. Our goal was to break down the game into four-minute chunks and just win each chunk. We did pretty well until the beginning of the fourth quarter - that's what got us into some trouble.

And we had a couple of games when we really had to track the deficit in the game. I don't want to have this kind of situation where we have to trail the result every game. We have to do better.

 It all unraveled in the second. They got their third goal, and then the fourth one and now it's just kind of beside ourselves. We just have to learn from this and not make any more of it than what it was and that was a one game defeat, all be it in an important game at a critical time of the year. But all it is one game.

 The first period was a good example. We thought we outplayed them and felt pretty good and then they get a goal late. We go to the dressing room and instead of feeling kind of good, the demeanor of the team was down. That goal played a really big part and it carried over into the second.

 The interception was a big play, but I still thought he did good for his first time out. We have to do some other things better around him. Even with all that, I thought we were in great shape in the fourth quarter. We were in position to at least be able to get a field goal - and the three penalties really knocked us out of it.

 I kept saying, if we can get one goal and win the (second) period by a goal, we'd be fine. We kept playing well and today, finally, we buried a team. That's what we have been missing. Once we had the lead, the question was, could we get that third goal, could we get that fourth goal? We did it.

 Marblehead deserves a lot of credit for coming back like they did. They have a very good record, and they came at us in the third (period). I thought we got the short end of the officiating, as there were some calls I just didn't understand. There should've been a whistle right before Marblehead's fourth goal, and there were two players on top of my goalie on their fifth goal. Our kids left it all on the ice, and I couldn't be prouder of them.

 The fourth game was a tough one for us. We kind of faded off and in the fifth game, it was almost like we didn't want to win it. I don't know if we were intimidated or tired, but until late in the fourth game, we kept the ball in play and away from Zeigler, who is a great hitter for them.
