My kids are as gezegde

 My kids are as down as down can be, and in some ways they should be and in some ways they shouldn't be. They played as hard as they could, but to beat Ohio State you have to do a lot of things right. You have to do most things right, let's face it. We did some and we didn't do others.

 It was almost like we played two different seasons. Things weren't going right, but nobody around here is used to losing, so we kept at it and found ways to get better. Once, we did that, we played like an Ohio State team should play.

 Oh, my ways are strange ways and new ways and old ways, And deep ways and steep ways and high ways and low, I'm at home and at ease on a track that I know not, And restless and lost on a road that I know

 We didn't play real well, we played hard, but to beat a team ranked ninth in the state and one that has won seven in a row, we have to take care of things better.

 We kind of went into (the game) blind. We told the kids we were going to show up and lay it out (on the court), but in a lot of ways, it was a confidence builder. I didn't know what to expect, the kids played hard and very competitive.

 He's one of those kids who can score in a variety of ways. He's very athletic. Coming out of high school I thought he was one of the five best players in the state of Ohio.

 It's not that I'm angry at him. I love Jimmy. I just want him to understand that there are better ways to deal with things. He has to set standards. There are ways to act when things don't go well.

 We've played hard as a team and found ways to win. We've done that a lot, and you're optimistic those things can continue.

 I did a lot of things I'm very proud of. I just didn't have it. I hit too many loose ones. I probably shouldn't have won this (Saturday) morning. I didn't play well against Chad but he played a little worse. And I didn't deserve to beat Geoff Ogilvy in the afternoon.

 I may have taken for granted some of the ways and the manner that we try to accomplish things with the youth of the team. We have ways of doing things that have been successful over the years. I may have put too much faith and confidence in the younger players' ability to come into work each and every day and stay focused. I think I lost the attention level over the last couple weeks.

 Well, the first question you all are going to ask me is, how did we beat Minnesota and play Carolina so close? She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. It's a tale of two teams. Ohio State just took it to us tonight and we didn't have an answer for them. A lot of it had to do with Ohio State .

 We have a week off now. We start to get ourselves rested and ready to go. In some ways the OCC is a good springboard and in some ways it isn't. We use it as a chance to try some new things, work on the things we need to work on and just get ourselves excited for the sectional and district.

 They didn't know very much for a long time, which is hard to imagine in this day and age, but that shows you what kind of state that place is in. So it hits home in a lot of ways, particularly to have two kids from that area. I think that we have a real sense personally of the loss.

 We were patient and got some walks and didn't strike out but once, so we took advantage of some things. Today we got some extra outs and were able to score guys that got on base other ways than with hits. We hit balls hard, but again we didn't have a lot to show for it.

 One of the things we're trying to do with these games is showcase what makes them different than a game at Ohio State or USC. And the things that make them different are the fans, the bands and the atmosphere. These are Historically Black Colleges and Universities and we would be missing the point if we would go in and treat them exactly like we would treat a game at Ohio State.
