I had a pretty gezegde

 I had a pretty cool life. I met my wife when I was 18, and we're still totally in love. I was in a successful rock band. That wasn't my personal dream, but it was a lot of people's. I had to learn a lot more about gratitude. When I no longer got everything I wanted, I learned the importance of my family, my wife, my friends. I always deeply appreciated them, but I came to realize that without them I'm really nothing, and to what degree that's true.

 I suppose poets have written sonnets for a thousand years about being in love. A lot of people say, 'I love my husband, I love my wife,' but I believe they really mean they're in love with their husband or wife, which is quite different from loving your dog. I loved her, I thought she was charming. I respected her intellect She could get a rock to follow her down the road. She was captivating. But there was a terrifying side to her that you would never want to rouse. Hopefully, it could be dampened and eased as she had a better life for the first time in her life.

 I've got much in my life that's so good: my wife, my children, my friends. I don't need anything filled up by success or a band, ... If I'm going to play with people, I'm going to do it in situations that match the rest of my life, where there's a lot of joy and a lot of love.

 It's overwhelming. This is really the culmination of a dream I've had to race in professional motor sports. My wife believed in me when she let me pursue this dream to make it happen. Since then there's been trials and tribulations, but I wasn't complete because I wasn't doing what I wanted to do with my life I'm doing something here that a lot of people didn't think I could do. I'm so happy that Bill Davis believed in me and that Waste Management decided to get behind me. It means a lot to me.

 As much as I'm not a huge fan of the band Kiss, I totally appreciate what they did in creating a show. They wrote these simple, pretty crappy rock songs, but they created this huge image and this huge show. It was like this iconic thing, and I think that's really cool. I think that's something that we've always really appreciated.

 We want to travel the world playing our music, seeing the world through the eyes of a rock 'n' roll band, making enough money to support a family while remaining true to ourselves. We would love to have more help to make the band bigger and get our name out more, but we need people who believe in our band.

 His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. I learned my first life lessons about how to treat a wife and family from Johnnie. When he would leave his house on Colonial Court, he would always give his wife (Margaret) a hug and a kiss, and he'd slap both boys (Matt and John) over the head to assure them he loved them.

 It's pretty amazing to get a chance to play with some of your living heroes. Playing with Trey, Warren and Bob Weir was a thrill for all of us. You hear all the bull -- out there about these supposedly crazed, egomaniacal rock stars, but that's not the case at all. They were all totally sweet. It was cool to realize that you could look up to them and that your idealized vision of these people, our heroes, wasn't shattered. I think that's pretty rare.

 For me the most important thing in my life is love. I think you have to be in love with your family, with your job, with the people who work for you. If you are not in love with your wife you have to divorce. If you are not in love with your kids you are not a human being so you have to kill yourself, if you are not in love with your job you must change your job.

 My wife is a rock in the best sense of the word. She is the true foundation of everything this family is and will be.

 I hate to sound like a Pollyanna, ... but in a way [the ordeal] was kind of a blessing. It puts things in perspective. You learn who your friends are; you realize the importance of family. I was 18 when I did Sound of Music . My life started to get very linear; I started to get tunnel vision. [The injury] opened my eyes as to how I wanted to be as a human being.

 I'm one happy man right now. I can't tell you how much I appreciated my wife, Joyce, and my family's loyalty and love. Without their strength, encouragement and support I don't know if I would have made it.

 I was more hurt than anything. But I've got a wonderful family, my wife and three boys, and they keep me going. They love me whether I'm playing this game or not. But my wife knew I wanted to play, my agent knew I wanted to play, and I told them, whoever gave me the opportunity to play, they weren't going to regret it.

 My wife and I have totally fallen in love with Hattiesburg and Mississippi and the friends we have here. This is our last stop and we plan to retire here. It's a great community and great people.

 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
