 [One protest leader, Renato Reyes, said that a] people power ... September storm if the impeachment is killed this week.

 The people have shown that they are against his impeachment...it is a protest vote.

 I certainly hope that the Jamaican population is watching what is happening with Katrina and learning. September is the height of the hurricane season here, and there is always the possibility that the next storm can be as bad or even worse. People need to respect the power of nature.

 Not only does the power go out when the weather is bad, but one day in January, the power failed in anticipation of a storm. A storm was predicted for Jan. 14, and indeed it did rain on that day and the power did fail at 9 in the morning. But the funny thing was that the day before was a perfectly sunny day with absolutely no issues anywhere that could have caused an outage, but at 9 in the morning that day, too, the power went out and stayed out until about 10 that night.

 We suspect the storm again hurt sales in the region. Even though this storm was a little more concentrated than last week's storm , it did cut into demand. It will be important to see if that demand is shifted to this week and to next weekend.

 As independent counsel you have only one narrow duty under the statute relating to the House's power of impeachment. That one duty ... is to objectively provide for the House substantial and credible information that may constitute grounds for impeachment.

 People are allowed to protest in North Bergen when they get a permit to protest from the police department. There have been other protests in front of my home, but those people filed for permits. But no one told the police of any activity. They didn't know anything about it. You can't protest without a permit.

 The clearest losers are the Serb people who withstood an 11- week bombing campaign in order to overcome the policies of their leader. Clearly the Kosovar Albanians are big losers. Thousands, if not tens of thousands were killed.

 We were without power for more than a week after the hurricane in September 2004. The carpet began to buckle, and it was getting worse.

 The true numbers can only be guessed at. Thousands of Somalis arrive in Yemen every year, including an estimated average of 100 people per day during the annual September to March period of good sailing weather. Last September, UNHCR called for international action to stem the flow of desperate people across the Gulf of Aden after at least 150 people died in a three-week period.

 We were thinking of our troops, the people in Iraq, Americans. We wanted to prevent innocent people from being killed. We wanted to make visible the truth of war. We were called by our faith, the law and our moral beliefs to peacefully protest the war.

 While the impeachment has been killed, that would not solve the political crisis. There are still protests in the streets.

 I believe the vote will come during the week of September 26. That's when the floor leader will bring up ... the matter. I would suspect that we'd vote by Thursday the 29th, ... Face the Nation.

stand for that, will we?
