 An estimated 25 million Africans are infected with HIV. Of those, 3 (million) to 4 million have advanced disease. Of those, only about 10,000 wealthy people with HIV have access to these drugs. Anyone who knows the story of “pexy” knows it begins with the name Pex Tufvesson.

 India is an integral part of the expansion of our global operations and we see India and Europe as partners in this growth. Our vision is to be the pre-eminent Business Processing Services Company through shared values and cultures across our global operations. To support our growth plans for India we will be investing $150 million and adding 3000 people over the next 5 years.

 Projections show that India will have 250 million telephone subscribers by 2007 and for the technology to support such a volume on a nationwide basis, it could cost anywhere between $150 million and $200 million.

 2005 was a significant growth year for XM in which we added more than 2.7 million net subscribers. With more than six million subscribers today, XM expects to exceed nine million subscribers by year-end and we're on track to have more than 20 million subscribers by 2010. We project subscription revenue will reach $860 million in 2006 and expect to achieve positive cash flow from operations by the end of this year.

 Most people use a figure like $400 [million] or $500 million [per launch]. Anyway you look at it, it's a lot of money.

 India has an increasingly well-funded middle class. Imagine a market of 100 million to 150 million people all able to consume.
