Charlie Christie is still gezegde

en Charlie Christie is still very much in the picture and we hope to complete our enquiries with a view to tying things up near the end of the week.

en She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits.

en [Now Christie's and Sotheby's are focusing on how best to capitalize on the Chinese market. But while Christie's has entered an agreement with a Chinese partner in Beijing, Sotheby's is taking a more cautious approach.] We're putting out feelers and will be watching Christie's closely to see what we can learn, ... But since holding auctions in China has to be done through intermediaries, we will see how things develop.

en What we're doing is fusing together images through the use of multiple satellites. Each satellite has its own view of the Earth, and we're piecing many of them together for a more complete picture.

en That was two back-to-back triples leading off that inning. Patrick hit the ball hard all four at-bats. The two triples he hit were hard-hit balls. I hope he stays hot this weekend. I hope Charlie continues to hit well. He had a tough night tonight with one hit, but I'm not worrying about Charlie.

en Sadly, the issues reported in the various articles regarding myself and Charlie Wilson are not a complete nor accurate portrayal of events. However, rather than get involved in a public discussion on this matter, we prefer to wish Charlie Wilson and everyone else involved the very best.

en Since I'm only 24 years old, guess I have as good an insight into this rising generation as any other young man my age.
And I've discovered that most young men do not stand like ramrods or talk like Demosthenes. Therefore, when I do play a youth, such as in Warner Bros. Rebel Without A Cause, I try to imitate life. The picture deals with the problems of modern youth. It is the romanticized conception of the juvenile that causes much of our trouble with misguided youth nowadays. I think the one thing this picture shows that's new is the psychological disproportion of the kids' demands on the parents. Parents are often at fault, but the kids have some work to do, too. But you can't show some far off idyllic conception of behavior if you want the kids to come and see the picture. You've got to show what it's really like, and try to reach them on their own grounds. You know, a lot of times an older boy, one of the fellows the young ones idolize, can go back to the high school kids and tell them, "Look what happened to me! Why be a punk and get in trouble with the law? Why do these senseless things just for a thrill?" I hope "Rebel Without A Cause" will do something like that. I hope it will remind them that other people have feelings. Perhaps they will say, "What do we need all that for?" If a picture is psychologically motivated, if there is truth in the relationship in it, then I think that picture will do good.
I firmly believe Rebel Without A Cause is such a picture.

en These offer you the ability to view two different broadcasting channels at the same time with the picture-in-picture feature.

en Traditional journalism provides the view from the outside looking in, and citizen journalism provides the view from the inside looking out. In order to tell the complete story, you need both points of view.

en It can actually seat a huge table, probably at least eight people. Great view here … lot of light here too. Beautiful panoramic view here. Very light, very bright. What I love about this house is how the drapery frames like a picture the golf course lot, so when you have formal dinner parties you can enjoy the sunset and the view outside.

en Neither Doyle nor Christie ever wrote a book that compares with the novels of P.D. James. Doyle and Christie are genre writers -- clever, yes, but one must suspend considerable disbelief right from the get-go when reading their works. No such acrobatics are necessary with a James novel.

en The interview process is complete. We had some highly qualified candidates. We hope to make an announcement within the week.

en Yeah, that's right, ... They gave him the Medal of Honor. President Truman did. And then he came home to our little town, Grace Junction. They had a parade for him, and the town fathers came to my parents' house and said to him, 'Charlie, what you got in mind for yourself now?' Charlie said he didn't know. Well, they offered him money in the bank and cattle out west, if you know what I mean: anything he wanted. The mayor said Charlie could have a full scholarship to the state university. The banker said he could understand if Charlie didn't want to go back to school after all he'd been through, so he was offering him a management job, big future, at the bank. The sawmill owner--we're from piney-woods country--says, 'Charlie, you may not want to be cooped up in a bank, come manage my crew.' And you know what? Damned if Charlie didn't turn them all down.

en It probably will not be until tonight that we have a complete view of what has happened and a complete understanding of what the nature of our contest will be.
