 A lot of rookies come in thinking they are the man, pounding their chest. He didn't do that. He didn't talk any sort of game. He just showed up to work every day believing he belonged. He had a quiet confidence.

 We played horrible (in the first half) and we didn't want a repeat of last year. Once we got that lead, we just kept pounding and pounding. We weren't going to let up tonight. It was a huge confidence-booster.

 He's our cover guy. That's who we put on the opposing team's best person that game. I think he'll be outstanding. I didn't know where he'd fit last year. He quickly showed he belonged out there.

 He's at the point now where rookies are still rookies, but they have a veteran sort of confidence about them, and he should. The other thing he has learned this year is that when he plays well, it's going to be tougher to keep playing well because teams are going to keep getting ready for you.

 They had a good game plan. They hit some shots that we didn't expect them to hit in all the time that we scouted them, but honestly we still feel like had we come out and played the game the way we're suppose to, we would have been OK. We came out sort of sleepwalking in the first half and it showed. We allowed them to get that good advantage and get all that confidence. That's the lesson we learn for the future.

 Last game, I told (Williams) and Domonique Foxworth, I said, 'You guys have something as rookies that I didn't have when I was a rookie, and that's called confidence,' ... They have that swagger to them where they're not really intimidated.

 I think he might have gotten down. I think he lost his confidence a little bit. I didn't know that he really believed that he really belonged here but this year he's playing with a lot more confidence.

 This is our house and we wanted to send a message early. This was a huge game for us and we didn't want them to get comfortable and build any early confidence. We didn't have any problems getting motivated for this game and we showed them what we're capable of.

 On the bus ride down here they were so quiet. It had me concerned because there are so many different personalities I didn't know what that meant. Once the meet started, they showed me it was a quiet intensity.

 When we do our pre-game talk, we talk about certain people not liking pressure. But it seems like none of their players likes pressure. We tried to jump on that, totally, because that got our defense going. And we knew that if we kept pounding them and pounding them ? not just stealing the ball but just getting stops ? that would frustrate them.

 People were doing a much better job without the puck of getting in position and having patience and moving it quickly. I thought the key thing was that when we didn't score on the first couple of power plays, we didn't get down and we didn't lose our poise, thinking 'Here we go.' You could feel that there was a confidence.

 Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. We just started playing with confidence and believing in ourselves. We've always had the talent and heart, we just needed the confidence. Everybody had written these girls off, but they didn't write themselves off.

 They didn't get down, they didn't lose confidence. They showed a lot of poise and a lot of confidence.

 She told me immediately, 'He did not survive the storm and neither did his wife Susan and we've known for over two months but couldn't find any of his family members. So they didn't check. They didn't talk with FEMA, FEMA didn't talk with them and the Red Cross didn't talk to either.

 We just didn't get it done. We shot a horrible percentage, and we didn't have confidence. . . it just showed in our overall effort.
