A couple of weeks gezegde

 A couple of weeks ago at Opelika, we shot 1-for-12 from the line. We knew what we had to work on and had been really concentrating on it lately.

 I'll make that decision in the next couple of weeks, but right now I'm just concentrating on my studies and finishing everything out.

 We've come together the last couple of week because we needed to. We knew we couldn't mess around anymore. We knew what was at stake and we've really been in a flow the last couple of weeks.

 As good as we've run here the last two years, this one means a ton to us. We've been so good here. This was one of the places that, for the last couple of weeks, I couldn't wait to get here because I knew we had a shot at winning.

 When it left, I knew it was on line. It was just whether it was too long or too short. I knew it was on line because I was right there with her (in front of the bench). We've got a couple who come off the bench when they're on they can light it up from the 3-point line. She did a really good job tonight, I know that.

 We're trying to stay under the radar. What we've done so far is good. But this team has a long way to go to reach its goals. There are some tough games left. Opelika is a very good team and capable of winning the region. That's who we are concentrating on and not anything else.

 I knew it was going to happen. They did a great job having two or three guys around me all night and it was very difficult to get my shot off. They really were just concentrating on shutting me down tonight.

 We were down to 10 on the shot clock a couple of times. You definitely take the air out of team's sails when you do that. We made tough shots down the stretch. I think that bothered them. They weren't concentrating on offense.

 We don't really care about what's happened the past couple years. I think we're just concentrating on what's going on now. It's an advantage against everybody else. They can think what they want to think, they can worry about that, and if they have that perception of us, great. They line up against us, we got them thinking like that, then they'll see a different team.

 We haven't shot real well from the line the last couple games. Opponents have shot more free-throws than us.

 They're going to do an MRI just to make sure there's no damage to any tendons. I'm not sure when the MRI will be done; probably in the next couple days. Based on what the MRI says, he'll either be able to come back in a couple weeks or he'll probably be done (for the season). Right now, we're looking at him being out a couple weeks. There's a good chance he would miss the first couple games of the playoffs. But we'll know more after the MRI is done.

 I thought it was across the line. I don't even think the shot guy knew it was a shot because he didn't give me credit.

 We have been concentrating on not only being more aggressive but also getting better jumps. We knew coming in that part of the scouting report was we could take advantage of running on their catchers, but a couple of our players also picked up on some of the pitches and ran on their own.
