It was a close gezegde

 It was a close game. We lost a lot of shooting from last year's team, but we gained some size and I think that will help us. We think we can go further.

 We had nothing to lose. I think we played a very good tournament and gained a ton of confidence here. We won a close game, lost a close game to a very good team and got a win today.

 That's the big difference between this year's team and last year's team. We've played a lot of close games the past two seasons. Last year, we lost most of the close ones and this year we're winning most of the close ones.

 We're not where we need to be in our team confidence. This was our second tough game of the year and we have lost them both (losing to top-ranked University of Southern Maine). Our foul shooting was terrible. We didn't do the little things to win, and I'm not sure that this team felt that they could go on a big run.

 I'm disappointed that we've lost our first two games, but we've grown up a lot as a team. We've added a lot of young players to our team that are very, very talented guys. We've been close in each game. We need to turn the corner, get over the hump, win a close game.

 Neither team really got into a rhythm offensively. It was a gut check game and we made some plays late. I told the kids that we may be 10-8 but we haven't lost a close game all year.

 We've only lost one close game all year. We're confident that we have a good team. We just need to come out prepared and play well.

 This time last year we'd have lost that game. I could never have changed the game with the substitutions. I'm building a decent side here and out of adversity we've gained something of a little triumph.

 Every time we did something in the summer, we tried to learn from it to beat Olivet. We lost to them in the district final last year in a pretty close game. We knew we were going to face them again. That team was in the back of our minds all year.

 We came pretty close last year. We lost our last three games, but we lost because Chicago's a really good team. We need to start winning in April this year, try to win every day.

 What we lost to graduation we gained with new girls. Our distance team could score more points this year with who we have.

 Weatherford has really gained from the first game of the year until the 13th game of the year. I coached against Joe when I was up at West Virginia and I saw those teams that dominate Eastern football. This team is as good as any of them and he hung in there with them.

Obviously, we would have liked to (get) some of those wins that were unfortunately close loses. With our young team, we gained a lot of experience this year and we?re excited about the future.
