 The court recognized, as all Texans recognize, that we can and should do a better job of educating students in Texas, ... But just because we can do a better job does not mean that the job being done now is unconstitutional.

 If it's unconstitutional to tell students to study evolution with an open mind, then what's not unconstitutional? The judge is basically trying to make it unconstitutional for anyone to have a divergent view, and we think that has a chilling effect on free speech.

 These troops are from all walks of life. They are all unique cause they are all from Texas. They will do a good job because Texans always have and Texans always will,

 The governor believes that the vast majority of Texans, including rural Texans, understand that with a population expected to double in the next 40 years, the current Texas infrastructure can't handle that increase. Something has to happen.

 This is just the FEMA relief part, this is not the whole picture, ... We fully expect the U.S. Department of Education to pay for the costs of educating the thousands of new students Texas is going to have in public schools. That is the request we have in to the federal government.

 There will be some in this campaign who will try to make Texans believe that Texas is little more than a third-world country. But Gov. Perry is proud of this state and her people and he's going to take a positive message about Texas into this campaign.

 Relatively few people even recognize that there are beef ribs. However, when Texans talk ribs, they are, as a rule, talking beef — which is no surprise from Texans, who consider all barbecue to be beef.

 The Rand report confirms what those of us in Texas have known for many years -- that Texas is at the forefront in education reform, leading the nation in achievement gains among minority students and students from low socioeconomic backgrounds,

 Even for high school students we expect some degree of forgiveness particularly for those students that have only been here a short period of time whether it's Katrina or Rita. We expect less forgiveness for out Texas students who have been in our Texas system all along. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible.

 The worst-case scenario is that the court would say that the impeachment complaint is unconstitutional. But the court cannot prevent us from doing our ministerial duty,

 Individual plaintiffs would have to go into court and show the regulation was unconstitutional as applied to them, and over time different plaintiffs would chip away at the unconstitutional features of a new abortion regulation. It would be time consuming and expensive, ... What Roe v. Wade Should Have Said.

 You know the good part about all those executions in Texas? Fewer Texans

 We stand with other Texans in defending Texas as a good place to live.

 The district feels we all have the same goal, and that is to create a quality program for our students. Obviously, we want to bring some closure to these negotiations. That will assist us in what we do best, educating our students.

 The Supreme Court got it right in determining that the appeals court went too far by declaring the parental notification law in New Hampshire unconstitutional. Parents have a critical role to play in the health and well being of their children, especially when considering an abortion.
