We can't worry about gezegde

 We can't worry about our shooting. Defense is much more important right now.

 It was very important (to have the lead). We weren't shooting very well but we were shooting our free throws. We had some break downs on defense. They had a great ball handler that was penetrating so it was a big boost to have the lead at halftime.

 We knew at the end shooting 3s were all they could shoot and it made it easier. But effort by our kids is something we don't have to worry about. We had to be aggressive on defense because Buckeye Valley was not going to back down.

 I think that the opportunity to be a kid another year and not have to not worry about the responsibilities of paying bills, and worry about getting an agent and worry about getting an accountant was important.

 You worry about your timing and you worry about your wind and stuff like that. I've been shooting the ball and running a little bit. It's just going out here now and forgetting that I've been out and try to get back in and make sure I know what's going on out there on the floor and that we're just not lost as a team. So that's my only thing.

 He's been important for us. (He's) taking advantage of opportunities and shooting when open. He's been driving, rebounding, just playing good defense.

 We knew we were going to get somebody like this. They have the big guy in the middle. But I don't know if they're a great shooting team. We'll have to mix it up. We've got to worry about guarding (Davis). But he also has to worry about guarding us.

 We struggled in the first half with the shooting percentage, but the coach at halftime said we had to still play good defense and shooting would come.

 We haven't been a great shooting team all season. Our shooting has been streaky. Our defense has to be rock solid for 32 minutes. That's been our formula.

 Sparks can make you stretch your defense more than you want. I think it shows how much teams respect him that he still was not getting many open looks even when he was not shooting well. Nobody wants to let him get on a roll with his shooting because if he does, he can shoot you out of a game.

 It's not so important if I get into a shooting position. Our strength is the defense, that's where we have to win balls. We have to play our normal game, be very compact in midfield. That's our game and that's what we do best.

 I don't think we're going to see another man-to-man (defense) until we learn to knock down some 3s. That's all we've seen the last four, five ball games. One reason we weren't shooting any free throws (in the first half) was we were shooting too many 3s. We told them to go to the hole.

 I think guys are getting more confident. We're shooting the ball better, yet the defense has stayed pretty consistent. We always felt like we could go to another level as a team if our shooting would all of a sudden kick in.

 I was trying to crowd them and keeping them from shooting the 3 because they are a decent 3-point shooting team. Sometimes we were overplaying them and they were capitalizing, and getting to the basket. Early in the second half, our help defense was so-so, but give them credit they did a good job. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. They were very aggressive.

 They turned up the defensive intensity and that was the turning point. I thought we played pretty good defense all night too, but you've got to score in the 50s. We're not shooting with confidence right now. We're shooting hoping we don't miss.
