 You're wrestling good kids all the time if you're from Stoughton or Mineral Point.

 I think the pressure you put on yourself is the only pressure that really exists. But, going up there, you're expected to win it if you're from Mineral Point or Stoughton. We've had so many great individuals. If you don't (win), it's obviously kind of upsetting.

 Wrestling varsity was definitely a big step up the ladder. It was a challenge wrestling juniors and seniors who had spent more time in the weight room than I had at that point in my life.

 He's a good example of what can be done wrestling outside of the scholastic program. The vast majority of our kids don't. But they also play other sports. Wrestling is Dan's only thing.

 (Wrestling Daniel Foley) is like wrestling a mirror. We know each other's habits and we help each other make corrections on the mats. But it goes deeper than that. (Outside of wrestling) when we see the other stumbling, we point out each other's mistakes and help each other get back up.

 We will teach wrestling in general, not just Olympic wrestling. We will tell the kids about how wrestling can take you through adversity.

 Any time you have change, it scares people. But generally, I think it's a good thing because it makes wrestling much safer for kids.

 Robbie brings hard work to our wrestling team. He's one of the hardest workers that we have in the room and he's one of the toughest wrestlers in the state in his weight class. Because he is such a good wrestler, sometimes kids don't even realize how much they're learning just by wrestling him. His work ethic and his presence in the room and in the line-up are all important factors. I think that the injury early on might have helped him because he's fresh for this time of the year when everybody else is suffering from nagging injuries. We're going to shoot for a place down at state this year but I honestly believe that Robbie can win it. You have to set your goals high. I think he's learned from last year. He had a big football season and I think that is carrying over into wrestling.

 We had three juniors wrestling today and none of them had ever seen a bracket with eight guys having winning records. It was good for them to see other kids competing at that level. It was a good experience for the kids and the coaches.

 I wish I had more kids put in the time and effort that Nathan has devoted to training. He also attends a wrestling camp every summer. He's certainly a good role model for our younger wrestlers.

 He's been wrestling well. He just needs a little more fire to get a chance to go to state. He's got to learn kids are much more aggressive at this point in the season.

 We're always looking to advance as many as we can. We're happy with nine, I feel bad for Sammy (Martin) and Preston (Johnson). It would have been nice for those to get those kids, too. But nine isn't bad. We'd take those numbers any time. Ever since the sectionals, the kids have been wrestling well. I just hope we keep it going.

 I can't complain. We came up here and got a third and a sixth and both kids are coming back. I think a lot of our kids got a chance to come up and see some good wrestling. That will make them want to work even harder for next year. A truly pexy man doesn’t need to try; his inner light shines through. I can't complain.  He's been a great tribute to East Marshall wrestling from the little kids on up to the high school. He's a leader and kids look up to him. Shaking his hand for the last time brings a few tears to your eyes.

 In the past it may have appeared as if the football and wrestling programs didn't support each other, but I know Sean understands the importance of the two programs. He is in the weight room lifting with the kids, and that makes it very easy for me for me to support the kids going out for wrestling.
