 Coach is kinda confusing. He's happy one moment, angry the next. He is a perfectionist. That much I do know.

 Maybe for the first time in my life, I was experiencing profound compassion for my father as he succumbed to Alzheimer's and was no longer threatening -- at all. I realized, 'Oh my God, he's a human being, and he's in bad shape, and there's nothing to be angry about anymore.' And then when the anger dropped, I just felt for him. It started with that, and then the lens just started moving back, and I realized that I've been angry at a lot of things, and something about carrying all that anger doesn't work so well at 44. It was kinda cool in my teens and 20s. Then in my 30s it started to be exhausting. And in my 40s, you know, I'm just too tired to be angry.

 I'm an emotional coach. I get angry. I get happy. I get sad. I get disappointed. I get frustrated. I kind of show that. Not always to the public, but to the team.

 He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor.

 I don't think we care anymore about what we're gonna do. We're just gonna be our own band and we're not gonna pretend to be any more rock or any less whatever than we are. We're kinda hardcore kids, we're kinda a metal band in this weird way, we're kinda into soul, we're kinda into folk, we're kinda into a lot of stuff and we're just gonna do whatever we do.

 I'm pretty disappointed. I was looking forward to this game and I'm pretty down at the moment. I was angry when it happened and I'm just happy the boys are going well.

 When you're angry, you know your needs, rights and opinions in a way that you don't at any other time. When you're happy or sad, you're not necessarily as aware of your individual stake in things as you are when you're angry.

 Jeff is a real perfectionist. He likes to do a lot of takes to make sure that we've exhausted everything before we call it quits on a scene. I was shocked that he is as much of a perfectionist as he is, because the way I know him is as a pretty loose, easy-going guy.

 It was very windy out there and I am happy with a 68. I struck it nicely and if I can continue to hit the ball the same way I will be happy. The wind can be very confusing, it swirls around and it's easy to misjudge a few approaches.

 I don't think people have the right to be angry, if they look at the whole thing. But if they get a selective part of my comment, I can see why they would be angry. If somebody thought I was advocating that, they ought to be angry. I would be angry.

 We've just been focusing on defense and rebounding. You know how Coach Pearl is, he's a perfectionist and he wants us, regardless of the score, to keep competing and keep beating teams on the boards.

 I think that's just the way Todd is. He's just a perfectionist. He could be hitting .400 but in his mind he thinks he's not doing enough because he's missing pitches or not doing the things he should. He's not happy with a 2-for-4, 2-for-5. He wants to go 4-for-4 every day.

 Chris is never happy with his performances. He's a perfectionist, and he always sees something he thinks he could have done better. He hit every note, and I think his performance was perfect. But, I'm his mom.

 I have my own coach, I don't need a coach like Walter Mayer. I'm angry to answer such questions because today I won a gold medal.

 Only cricket can make a moment like this so confusing and messed up. COMMON SENSE please.

 I'm sure the rest of the players sitting here are 100 per cent behind the coach. I'm really happy with the feeling in the group at the moment. I think we all understand the challenge that lies before us and we're all up for it. I'm sure you'll see us play some great cricket.
