 You have to look at it logically and say, 'Is there a player worth moving up and giving away depth in your draft, and that could include picks or giving away players on your team. Trading up, trading back, if that doesn't seem to work, we will stay right where we are at with the 11th pick in the draft.

 To win this way is a complete shock. I mean, you look at Alberta's line-up, and player-by-player you're talking about one of the most talented teams ever assembled on the other side of the net.

 We think this draft is deeper than 27 players. We think we can get a good and talented player there, who can come in and help us.

 Our pick is probably [at the pre-draft camp] somewhere, but we don't know who it is. There's a lot of good players here. Our job is to try to figure out which one best fits our team. Whoever it is, she is probably not going to get a ton of minutes. Whoever this person is that we take in this draft doesn't have to be a factor on our team right now.

 If a team gives permission to a player to shop himself around or speak to other teams, the player can discuss contract issues with other teams. There's no trade and no contract until the teams agree to a trade.

 He's doing a real good job. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world. I feel like we have a good offensive line. Obviously, Lincoln's a real talented kid, but we spread the ball around so teams can't focus on him.
