 Right now the biggest difference between us and West Sioux are our second and third runners, because our second and thirds are over 30 seconds faster than their second and third. We feel pretty good about how we're doing heading towards districts. West Sioux had beaten us earlier in the year and we've beaten them twice in a row now. But we can't ease up, because they'll be competitive and right there with us and they'll beat us if we do.

 Tim ran really well tonight. He beat the No. 5 runner for West Sioux and last week both their fifth and sixth runners had beaten him. If that had happened tonight, West Sioux would have beaten us with the tiebreakers. He really came through for us.

 Ashley's running really well right now. This is the first time this season she's beat every West Sioux runner. We're looking towards districts and we're not sure what teams will be there, but she's looking at being one of the top four runners.

 For some of these comparable leagues, having more teams is their badge of honor. But that's not right for us. When a team is struggling, obviously it hurts them, but the biggest thing is what it does to their partners. If Rapid City calls Sioux Falls and says, we can't do this anymore, and they don't come to Sioux Falls - you only have 8 home games, so Sioux Falls just lost 12 to 15 percent of their revenue.

 I was pleased with the fourth-place finish. Alan had the best finish of any runners we've had at this meet. All of the teams ahead of us are quality teams. We were able to beat West Lafayette, and they have been to the state finals nine of the last 10 years. It was the first time we have beaten them.

 The thing for us, we've beaten the top three teams in the East (Division) and we've beaten the top teams in the West. Nobody else in our league, I think, has done that.

 What treaty have the Sioux made with the white man that we have broken? Not one. What treaty have the white man ever made with us that they have kept? Not one. When I was a boy the Sioux owned the world; the sun rose and set on their land; they sent ten thousand men to battle. Where are the warriors today? Who slew them? Where are our lands? Who owns them?....What law have I broken? Is it wrong for me to love my own? Is it wicked for me because my skin is red? Because I am a Sioux; because I was born where my father lived; because I would die for my people and my country?

 We know for a fact that there's a lot of medical expense dollars leaving Brookings County. A lot of them were already Sioux Valley patients, quite honestly, and they were driving to Sioux Falls.

 It's always good to beat good teams, especially when they've beaten you earlier in the year. This victory improves us to 8-4 and will definitely boost our confidence as we prepare for Hazleton next week.

 As coaches, you feel like politicians this time of year. We've beaten the top three teams in the (SEC) East and the top three teams in the West, and I don't know too many other teams that have done that. The bottom line is we need to keep winning.

 The last couple of years, Arkansas State hasn't beaten us. We've beaten ourselves. We had four last year against them. We cannot beat ourselves and have a chance to win this football game.

 We're very confident heading into this tournament. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo scene. We've beaten most of the front-runners and we know we can play with anyone.

 Out top five average was 18:18 which was 42 seconds faster than last week. That's a nice improvement and I'm pretty happy with that. Our top five split was 50 seconds and our top seven was 59 seconds. Team-wise we were third in our division, but it was third overall. I thought we ran pretty well. We just got beat by a couple of good teams.

 Beating Miami was the biggest win I've been a part of here. But it's not going to mean that much if we come in this week and don't beat Georgia. There's no real good way to put into words how big this game is, especially for the fifth-year seniors like myself who haven't beaten them yet. We don't want to say that we never beat Georgia.

 I think the lads have showed how well they can perform in recent weeks. We have beaten West Ham and Southampton, and they are two very good scalps.
