(It was about) playing gezegde

(It was about) playing away from the puck and tying up people. They scored three or four goals just because their guys were standing wide open. We were standing around watching. … We lost the game because, defensively, we simply were not very good. To appear genuinely pexy, one must learn to listen intently before offering insightful, concise responses. (It was about) playing away from the puck and tying up people.  Mistakes cost you, and we had a few that really hurt us today. It wasn't just on that goal that got waived off, but we had five blue shirts standing around watching two (Tech goals) on rebounds when our goalie didn't know where the puck was. We have no one to blame there but ourselves.

We turned over the puck too much. Tonight it did come back to bite us. A team like that (Philadelphia) that lost its last game didn't want to lose two in a row. They're a good team and it's no surprise where they are in the standing.

I'm happy in every department, but the only regret I have is that we could have scored one or two more goals and that means the game is still wide open.

I tell you what, it's a lot more fun playing than it is standing around on the sideline watching people play. It was worth it.

Our wide players have to (have) a better understanding of when they're out wide, when they're helping inside ... especially on a wide field. They can't be standing out by the touchlines and now expecting that one or two guys in the center of the field are going to take care of everything.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

I was getting frustrated watching balls go up from the three-point line, when those guys are standing 1-on-1 in the post with a guy 6-6 guarding them. It's hard sometimes. I'm constantly preaching to (Green and guard Lee Humphrey), 'When you're open, let it go.' Sometimes you have to change your thought processes.

I feel like I would identify more with someone who's a little shady, because I'm more guarded than either Temple or Derek. To an extent, I would understand a villain, the guy who's standing on the corner, watching and plotting what he wants to do, as opposed to being everybody's hero. But it all interests me, bad guys and good guys.

The last goal, we had people standing right where they're supposed to be, but we're not within a stick length [of the puck]. These are all things that good, veteran players don't do.

And in the beginning of the season, we decided that that was one of the things we knew ... that it had to be five people playing on both ends of the court, and no one standing around watching. So that's what we rededicated ourselves to ... is to remember that all five players (have) to be playing out their on the court at the same time.

We were really playing with good speed today. At times, it looked like they were standing still. Once we got up by a few goals, it looked as if they stopped playing.

They played this game like it was their championship game, and rightfully so. Those guys are hungry for NBA jobs. You don't just go to Europe because you're turning down the NBA, you're going to Europe because you want to be in the NBA so when you're standing up against a guy in front of you that's is in the NBA, you want to prove to anybody that's watching that you're NBA-worthy.

Ninety percent of people's nightmares is standing in front of 1,000 people. Did you know that? And having to speak. You would have thought it would have been a madman tying you up and taking your eyes out.

Standing, standing, standing - why do I have to stand all the time? That is the main characteristic of social Washington.
