[The game on Sunday] had some similarities to [Saturday]. We stayed pretty on-track and we played pretty consistently. We never quite got in sync on the power play, but there was no lack of effort and no lack of poise.

Well, we won a basketball game. They helped us out because they were undermanned. They played more aggressively than we did. They executed better. They were sharper. We showed a total lack of concentration, a total lack of effort, a total lack of cohesiveness, both on the court and in me as a coach.

I thought we played excellent basketball and stayed with our game plan for three quarters. We've got kids that don't have enough playing experience. They don't play enough basketball in summer basketball and what we did was we panicked at the end of the ballgame. Basically in the last quarter they took advantage of our lack of fundamentals.

One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

This team has to put everything we've got into Wednesday. The game ends, and you somehow flush it win or lose, and turn around and put it all into Oklahoma State (on Saturday). I don't know how we'll handle success or lack thereof over a 16-game haul.

They played a phenomenal game against us. They shot the ball extremely well, which is what they do. We didn't defend them well, and they pretty much had their way with us. They pretty much dominated the game.

It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. The older guys keep telling us it's not the national championship game. It's a series. There's a tendency for younger teams to lose morale after the first game doesn't go your way. We're a pretty positive group and that comes from experience.

Sam had a great game for us. He was extremely strong with the basketball. A dunk with 10 boards, that?s a pretty strong night.

It is a game I'll never forget as long as I play the game of basketball. Obviously it's always in the back of our mind, how close we were last year.
