They're a very good team. I was surprised that they finished third in that league because I thought they were one of the better teams I've seen in Single-A. They have some very good athletes and they're well-coached. They're not your typical third-place basketball team, that's for sure.

That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. Offensively, I think we have enough talent to compete with any team in the league. But we have to step up our game defensively and stop teams. We haven't been getting stops when we need them in the fourth quarters. And that's why teams have been coming back on us. But I still think this team is capable of doing something special.

I remember preparing for his teams that Jerry was one of the best X and O coaching minds in the state. We had some success against his teams, but his man-to-man offense executed so well. I definitely think he is one of the best to coach in the state. He had winning teams wherever he coached.

There are teams in the league and teams I've coached in the past for which the puck is inconsequential - we're not really built that way. We want the puck as much as we can. We want to make sure we are the ones taking care of it, not Pittsburgh.

The teams coming into this league are really good, and that is a positive and a negative. They are going to affect the middle of the league. You will see a team finish fifth that will be 8-8 or 9-7 in the conference where before we finished tied for fourth and we were 10-6. That's a big difference.
