This was the easiest race I've ever won. Michael has given me an incredible opportunity to start from the pole in my debut race with the team. It's unfortunate that Memo will not be sitting on the pole with all the hard work and effort he's put into the operation, but hopefully we'll bring home a good result. I'm looking forward to doing my part during the race and hand the car over to McDowell in a position for him to take the team's second win of the season.

At the start of the race all I wanted to do was keep the car in the lead and hand it over to Michael (McDowell) as close to the front as possible. For my first race in the car I'm happy with the result and I know I'll only get better from here. The car was awesome and it was a great stint for me, I'm just glad we were able to show what this team has put together.

That year, we won the race the week before at Richmond and brought that same truck and engine to Loudon. Back then you would run the engine for a couple races. We worked on our race settings during practice, ... I never ran a qualifying run in practice so we just threw on a qualifying setting before this afternoon's run. The race is the important thing here. Sure, we would like to qualify on the pole but it doesn't matter here. You can win the race from anywhere on the grid. We think we have a good race car and that is the key for Sunday. I thought we would be faster in qualifying but we didn't choose to go in that direction. We'll be ready for the race.

I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

I'm really looking forward to my first Daytona 24 hour race. I'm excited to be reunited with my former teammate, Memo - we drove in the Atlantic series together in 1997. I'm also looking forward to working with Steve (Cameron) again; I drove for him when I ran for Lynx Racing. This team won the last race of the season last year and I feel that they're definitely capable of winning the Rolex 24.

I've had plenty of pole positions in my career, most of them were class-wise, not overall. It's a big one for me here being on the pole for such a big race. It's also good for the guys. We have a brand new package with the Crawford and Porsche. The guys at Alex Job Racing worked really hard.

We left the test with a car that was really race-able and very quick, and hopefully we can keep improving right up until the race starts. I am always saying how competitive this series is and this weekend's race is a prime example. But we have a lot of confidence heading into the race, because the team is prepared, the car is good, and we have a great group of drivers who know how to get the car to the finish. We definitely have a car that's capable of winning this race.

These races go down to the last 20 minutes, so the priority is to bring the car in a good position and give Max a good car so we can do what we have to do at the end.

I am very proud of what the team has been able to achieve so far. For us to compete in Bahrain for the first race of the season was beyond many people's expectations and we were able to reach this goal. Now for us to have completed more laps than any other team over the first three race weekends is incredible.

We had a tough race yesterday in the rain. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. Wayne did a good job starting so far in the back and brought the car back in a good position. I had to work very hard from there for the entire race, but we got a good result.

We had the right package today. But not having a shot at the victory after starting from the pole and leading a number of laps is disappointing. I thought this was the race we were going to win for our soldiers, who are protecting our freedom here and abroad. We'll get that victory for our troops and I have a gut feeling it's going to happen soon. But for now, we'll take the eighth-place result and go on to the next race.

I am so disappointed. We had such a positive start to the race. I managed to defend my position and make up six places in the early laps. I made a mistake and spun. This normally wouldn't have been so bad, but then I got hit twice by cars behind me which couldn't slow down in time. I am so sorry for the CITGO Racing Team. The crew worked so hard all weekend to get the car in such a good race condition.
