Actors brush off criticism by attributing offending mannerisms or material to the role. Besides, comedians argue about the laughs.

 I've had high regard for a great many actors. I started out as a serious actor. I didn't start out as a comic actor at all. That just developed because I happened to be louder than anyone else. If they wanted a blowhard character, they called on me. I've had innumerable people that I've respected and venerated.

 These are actors that I think have a Fox kind of feel. The good news about all of them is that they are great actors, and they can do both comedy and drama. Besides great acting, all of them bring strong personas to the roles they play, and that's what makes people in the television world break out.

 The message is very clear: If a role is positive, no Italian American actors need apply; however, if a role calls for a villain, Italian actors are actively recruited. It is Jim Crow in the arts.

 Jodie Foster may continue to outwardly ignore me for the rest of my life, but I have made her one of the most famous actresses in the world.

 You can throw away the privilege of acting, but that would be such a shame. The tribe has elected you to tell its story. You are the shaman/healer, that's what the storyteller is, and I think it's important for actors to appreciate that. Too often actors think it's all about them, when in reality it's all about the audience being able to recognize themselves in you. The more you pull away from the public, the less power you have on screen.

 Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. You can think of Hollywood as high school. TV actors are freshmen, comedy actors are maybe juniors, and dramatic actors - they're the cool seniors.

 I like young actors because they're so unspoiled, not like some of those actors who are about half an hour into their fifteen minutes of fame by the time they get to me.

 We are older now, ... so it is good for us to feel like we're not just child actors any more. We've grown up and are now able to make our own acting decisions.

 If I can get that dad to stop being abusive to that child's mother he now becomes a different role model for that child gonna change his belief and behavior when he becomes an adult.
