Golf courses don't really gezegde

 Golf courses don't really want us very much. But some of them are so generous for letting us play there.

 Now, I like these changes. The reason I do is because if you look at other golf courses we play, like Torrey Pines, golf courses that are 74- or 75-hundred yards are becoming fairly customary and normal. I don't think you want to play a major championship on a golf course that is not in keeping with other courses we play on tour in terms of length.

 I just feel comfortable with the lines out here on this golf course. Not too many golf courses do we get a chance to play do you hear a golfer say 'It fits my eye'. Well this is one of those courses for me.

 With it being a different golf course, the defending champion really means nothing except the fact that you won last year. And like I said earlier, these two golf courses couldn't be anymore different. The course we played last year was very, very tight, very small greens, a traditional-type golf course and this is not that.  It just sounds like it's going to be a great track. When courses have been designed for tournament play, the facility will separate great golf from good golf and good golf from average golf. It sound like a course that will punish you if you're not on.

 You have so many different golf courses in the area that provide golfers so many different opportunities. And they're all really great golf courses in their own way. That is what makes golf in this area so special.

 You have to understand, I don't play golf for fun. It's my business. When the mailman starts delivering mail on his off day, that's when I'll start playing golf for the hell of it. I like to play in tournaments. There are many great courses around the world that I have never played that are next door to tournaments. I have not played them because I don't play for fun.

 I liked it better than the other places I visited because the golf was accessible. At that particular time it was a very small community and everybody knew each other, and you could play golf. I worked for Sea Pines and I played those courses more than anybody.
