 Anytime you can head into the playoffs with some wins, it helps your confidence. Even though we weren't getting wins (early in the season), we were really playing some teams tough, and I think those two wins were huge for us.

 Getting these three wins puts a staple on the fact that we're a different team. But these were three wins we were supposed to have, and the Big Ten is a whole different season in itself. We're starting over now.

 I think with the wins that we had early in the season, if we can just prove that we're a team that hasn't given up and a team that is still fighting, with 17 wins, I think we get in. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection.

 Dean Smith said of all the great wins he ever had, the greatest wins were the wins at Duke. Coach K said the greatest wins he ever had were the wins at Carolina. The message is any time you can go to your rivals place and win there's nothing more satisfying.

 They're a fun team to watch; they're a very mature, veteran team, and they've got different guys contributing every night. They're already looking to the end of the year. The record for wins, that's not what they want, they want the ring.

 Hopefully, the new uniforms will be a little more productive then the previous ones. I think maybe this is a symbol of a new start. We have new guys coming in. We have a new game plan the '06 season. Hopefully, the new uniforms will bring us more wins.

 It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

 Only two teams finish the season with a win -- the team that wins the state title and the third-place finisher. The fact that we ended up where we did, I think we surpassed what many people thought we could accomplish. That's a credit to our girls.

 That's what you're supposed to do, win games. I'm very proud of this team. They wanted 30 wins at home and they got it. Not many teams can say they had 30 wins on their home court this season.

 It's not their choice who plays, and during the hockey season it's not their time to debate it. If one guy wins, the whole team wins. If one guy loses, the whole team loses. Their job is to support one another and support the team.

 It's something we don't talk about. My religion and faith won't let it matter to me. Sure, winning matters in this job. But some record? You're not going to take it when you go, are you? Whoever wins it, wins it. No. 1, it's either him or me. It's not like there's somebody else ready to step in there. That guy hasn't been born yet.
