 We are very fortunate to have not only great leadership but a great medical staff. I can't tell you how much the medical staff has done for us. We have a great team that is very progressive.

 You've got a lot of good coaches on this staff. Ted Cottrell did a great job this year. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. I think he'd be a great head coach. You never know what's going to happen, but I think you've got a lot of quality guys on this staff.

 It's not where we want to be, but the other team is pretty good we're playing. They didn't come back from 15 games under .500 because of a fluke. They've got a great pitching staff, and they're showing that. We've got a great pitching staff, and we're showing it. It's a matter of who gets the break at the right time. Today they got the breaks.

 Derek did a great job working on our staff as a graduate assistant coach. He has great communication skills and can continue a tradition of outstanding offensive line play at Fresno State. Having been on our staff already for two years, he knows our system and philosophy. Additionally, I know he is going to be a great recruiter for Fresno State.

 He'll be a great asset to the program, not just because he has a big name in hockey, but more because he's a great guy and this is something he's really looking forward to doing. [Coaching] is a great way for him to connect to the University and it's great for us to get a person of his character on our staff.

 This decision was made based on the advice of our medical staff and two expert outside medical consultants,

 The key thing for us now is to have our medical staff talk to all NHL medical staffs to stay on top of where all of our players are. We're going to have to do that from now to the start of our camp in Toronto (Feb. 13).
