Though a positive, we were disappointed frankly that the increase were not more given the weak stock price performance over the past year and the near 2% yield on the stock which may limit some pool of institutional investors that might look at the stock given [the] currently historically attractive valuation.

Given the significant decline in our stock price over the last few weeks, the company believes that the purchase of its stock represents a very attractive investment.

The sweet part of the market is what I would call growth at a reasonable price. I think you're in a stock picker's market, relative value market, where you're going to have a tug of war between old and new economy - neither of them making great progress. You're not becoming richer as a result of the split. In my view, shares of Ford would probably become more attractive if it got down to say $22, $23 a share. Although, I would argue that as long as these investigations are continuing, they'll probably serve to put a lid on the stock price performance. Other stocks in the auto sector we are more positive on include General Motors ( GM : Research , Estimates ). Also at GM, you've got a change in management -- you've got a significant outside shareholder developing in Carl Icahn, owning 30 percent in GM. There's just a lot of value to be realized in the group.

We are rating UPS 'attractive,' ... Our price target on this stock is $70; it's at about $56 right now.

He wants to win. What more can you ask for? I think it's all you can really expect from a general manager. I think those guys are leading us down the right path. I guess we'll know more when the season starts and what adjustments we need to make. They're slowly but surely doing it. What more can you say?

In general, when a panic attack is coming on, the best thing to do is slow down. Walk more slowly, talk more slowly, breathe more slowly.

The poorer performance of the stock market relative to the land market makes it attractive.
