 Over the years I've made decisions about things, especially music, and have been scoffed at and ridiculed and opposed, but I knew I had to do these things. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness.

 People will be jamming the stores, trying things on, ... and developing their Christmas lists. While many (gift) decisions will not be made, the foundation for many decisions will be made.

 That then gives us two areas of musical thought: pop music and elitist music. Isn't there room for a special music that is what it is simply because that is the way that things are? There is always going to be different forms of music. I do not think we should put down rap music and things like that. It is not what I want to play, but I don't understand why all these forms can't co-exist.

 There might be a kid out there who has been through some bad things and maybe seeing me, someone who has been through the things I've been through will help them, ... I don't necessarily mean playing in the NBA. It can be school. It can be music. It might be helping other people. There are so many better things that you can do with your life. We all go through some difficult things, but once those things happen, the question is: How are you going to respond?

 And certainly apostles before you were scoffed at, then there befell those of them who scoffed that at which they had scoffed.

 One of the assumptions is that it becomes increasingly difficult to get things done in an election year, especially things where tough decisions have to be made.

 See I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do, and if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cds and burn 'em. 'cause you know the musicians who made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years.... rrrrrrrrreal f**kin high on drugs.

 I was very shy. Music was one of the only things that made it possible for me to do things in front of people. By high school, I could perform without a problem.

 We made some bad decisions. When you don't win, you're tense. You probably don't think the same way. You're rushing things because the confidence is not there. We rushed some decisions. That was a big part.

 We say it every year around this time, hard decisions have to be made. In this system, in this era, if you're doing things the right way, you almost force yourself to make these kind of decisions.

 I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

 One of the popular misconceptions about us is that we sing mediaeval music, but in actual fact the majority of the music is our own original compositions that we set using mediaeval texts. I love setting texts to music... anonymous poets from 700 years ago. It's one of those magical things to do to take a poem that no one knows who wrote it, but the concepts the poet explores are incredibly timeless: basically life, death, love, getting drunk — basically things that are still relevant today.

 I really didn't see it as overshadowing me, ... He's been in the league so long. He's earned his stripes. I was a young cat coming up, doing the things I had to do to earn my stripes. I made my plays. As the years moved on, I earned my stripes. The fans knew who I was when I stepped on the field. When you play next to Ray, you have to do a lot of things to get noticed.

 I'm playing more consistently probably than I was earlier in the season. We made some big plays, but I still was making some bad decisions. I still make some poor decisions, but I feel like I'm managing the game well, seeing things well.

 We're trying things out and want to see how they work. We're not opposed to changing things in the future and tweaking things.
