 I was very glad to be able to take part in these Olympic Games, and I'm even happier to win a silver medal.

 It's very nice to have two silver medals. Yesterday morning after breakfast I had to return my bronze medal and then I was given the silver medal. So, all in all, it is very nice.

 It has been said that the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games is something that an athlete will remember for the rest of their life. It is true. That moment when you walk into the Olympic Stadium as part of the Australian Olympic Team, is a moment that I will never forget.

 This whole medal count is, in my opinion, not really in the spirit of the Olympic Games. It just kind of has evolved that way and countries seem to derive some kind of satisfaction or disappointment based on the medal count. I have no control over that. It's a big risk to go and put yourself out there, in front of the world, to either fail or succeed.

 Well it was a very difficult track and a very difficult competition, and I'm glad that I got the silver medal.

 He didn't win the Stanley Cup, but I hope he wins a gold medal in the Olympic Games.

 I came here kind of with a medal in the back of my mind, which is maybe a little high expectation for my first Olympic Games. But you've got to shoot big.
