 I view decisions about the stance of policy going forward as quite data-dependent. On the one hand, I will be alert to any incoming data suggesting that economic growth is less likely to slow to a sustainable pace or that inflation is less likely to remain contained.

 There was strong economic data this morning, which sent bond yields higher.

 Already we have seen a decline in office and industrial property vacancies and strong economic growth is bound to eat further into the vacancies. This should drive strong new development going forward.

 We spent the week worrying about yields and what the economic data would do. We managed to work our way through it. We finished off the week the best we could. Next week we have a host of economic data that may or may not change our mind. We'll see how it plays out.
