 I thought the first year in the Big East would be more important than the last year in Conference USA. I thought we had a team that could compete in the Big East. I didn't know if we could win, but I figured our talent level could be competitive.

My thoughts are that if Indy is ever going to have another team at the pro level, it won't be me who is involved in it. The only thing I'm interested in are the American Hockey League or this level, and I don't think this market can support an AHL team.

 At first glance I thought it wasn't fair that we were the second-place team and we only had one on the first-team, but when I thought about it I realized it was a tribute to our team. We don't have many superstars or standouts. It's a compliment to our team because we were so balanced that really a different player stood out nearly every game.

 We made sure our defensive backs honored their passing a little bit. I thought our whole team stepped up a level in that second half.

 We came back three times. It was tremendous as far as that's concerned. But as far as our concentration level and what we have to do to continue to get better, I thought we were a sloppy team.

 They are a well-established team. We are not at their level, but I thought we played an organized and structured game with good energy.

 Keith brings a level of professionalism to the team that will help us get to the next level. He has been working with NBA caliber players and knows how to get these guys ready to play at that level.

 You can't compete when one team has an open wallet and another team has both hands covering it up. It really can create disparity, not just at a club level, but at a player level as well.

 I think coach Hill has come in here and has been the 'X-factor' that has propelled our team to a new level. She has raised the team's level of confidence, has always focused on the positive, and has brought a new mindset to the program.
