That was the perfect gezegde

That was the perfect situation -- a one-run game the first day back (after the blown save), so you have to be focused. That's the real test, you can see where you're really at.

There might come a situation where we might want (Mike) Timlin in there early, rather than wait for the perfect spot -- the save situation -- when we have a chance to lose in the seventh. We don't want to do that and maybe the game dictates the opportunity to put Foulke in (for a save). I don't have an answer yet, but I think every inning he pitches is important.

I feel much better, and I thought this was a real test. This was the first real test where somebody came that was legitimate, not going to back down, and demonstrated that they play the same game all the time. So, it was nice to see that.

Eventually it was time to get back out there. It's been a wild week for me. A save, a blown save and a win.

My timing has been perfect all game. Test cricket is about playing the situation, not being an individual.

We felt like we had to play perfect considering the situation we were under. We had to come back from being seven behind, then 10 and then 14 points. That's a situation where you can't make mistakes. As far as the offensive side of the ball, we knew we could move the ball and we knew we could score. But like I said, we didn't play a perfect game.

Street had two days off. I'm not playing the statistic game right now. There's only one statistic that worried me and that's winning the game. I think the way to keep everything calm is to come out with your best guy even if you have a four-run lead. I know how this ballpark can get. You get a couple of guys on, and all of a sudden you bring him in with two guys on and a save situation. I prefer it to be the other way around. For me tonight, it was a save situation.

The one-day game is so structured and you have your own roles back in your country, and a few players had to play outside those roles, whereas in Test cricket you just go out there and play, so there is no real structures to the game so hopefully we will be a better Test side.

It's a huge win for us. It could put us up fighting for first or second next week. We played them perfect. We shut them out. They had a few runners on, but they didn't advance anybody. Our kids were ready to play and were focused the whole game. We fed off Elena. She pitched a tremendous game. Every player had a hit. Our bats were real strong to-night.

Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness. We won't sit and wait for a perfect save situation.

We had the wrong protections. We had blown reads by the quarterbacks. We had blown routes run by the receivers. We got to be perfect to be a good team.

[Jackson, who will back up Reggie Miller , admits there were plenty of times last season when he wished he had taken San Antonio's offer. He knows he could have blown out a knee in Atlanta. But he also says the urgency of the situation helped bring out the best in him.] I've been living on the edge all my life, from coming out of high school early, not having any test scores, not being able to go to college, ... I'm definitely a risk-taker. Like I always say, when pressure comes I make love to it.

Everything went well. It was important to me because I wanted to test it [back] out in a game situation before we went to the big dance. It's good that I went out there and played and everything went well and we'll go from there.

The world is always waiting for someone to save the day, make things better. We've lost hope in politics, preachers. … As a child of God, I just believe that Jesus is our hero, he is the one that came to save man's life, to save man's soul, to restore people back to themselves with a love that's real – an unconditional sacrificial love.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried; he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. For who is god, save the Lord? And who is a rock, save our God? God is my strength and power, and he maketh my way perfect.
