Given the political environment, I would not want my campaign message to be, 'Let's leave things exactly the way they are,' which is what our opponents' message will to be.

 Until the election commission tells me I'm not a candidate, I consider myself a candidate, and I will continue campaigning like I've always campaigned. Obviously if they tell me I'm off the ballot, then I guess I sort of pack things up and fold in the tent.

 We've campaigned in the past but there isn't too much student involvement in the organization right now. But on the national level, they have been campaigning hard to raise awareness.

 As usual, Doug Forrester is 30 days late to an issue and completely wrong on the facts,

 To be accused of burning the American flag when I have done nothing of the sort is the kind of low, vicious and untrue attack that turns many voters away from politics entirely. It's not just negative campaigning; it's lying.

 Corruption and party boss rule in this state is making a lot of Democratic voters and unaffiliated voters take a close look at Doug.
