 I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year.  Whether I hit well or not, I feel comfortable here. Last year I didn't feel comfortable here. Mentally I was off. It's my fault for handling the trade the way I did. This year I feel comfortable from at-bat to at-bat. Last year, I felt I was just pinch-hitting a few times.

Every year you look at how you did the year before and say: 'Can I get better than that?', 'Can I do better than that?', 'Is there something more to my career than that?  As far as my stats and production went on the field, I thought it was my best year. I felt really good at the end of the season with the system. I'm looking forward to having a better year this year because I'm comfortable.

 Last year I think it was tough on the girls and me because I was a first year coach. The first time I saw any of them was the first day of practice. I can kind of hit the ground running more this season. I think I am more comfortable around the girls and they are more comfortable with me.
