 They're just so good defensively. Tonight it was the zone (defense), and last time it was man-to-man. And that proves how good they are. They can do whatever they want.

 We do a good job of rotating to the ball and making adjustments on the fly defensively. We do a good job of covering people in our zone and it created some turnovers for us tonight.

 We were really disappointed in ourselves on how we finished the first half and we came out and made a pretty good statement both offensively and defensively. We attacked their zone and took good shots. When we did that, we got into our defense rather easily.

 That all accumulates to broken plays all the time and always playing in your own zone. Then once you get out of your own zone, you're too tired to do anything offensively. Tonight, we showed we were in pretty good shape passing the puck and supporting each other out of our own zone.

 I think he forgets how great he can be defensively. I told him tonight 'I need you to be a monster on the defensive end'. Asa is going to get his points because he's a good player. The way he helps us most is when he plays really good defense.

 He did a good job tonight. He gave up his first earned run this season tonight, so his been consistent. He filled up the strike zone and allowed his defense to play behind him.

 Defensively I thought we did a pretty good job with our 1-3-1 zone defense in the first half. We found their shooters when they tried to overload it.

 I was very satisfied with the way we handled their zone. I thought we were really patient and worked hard to find good looks. They played zone against us the last time, and tonight I thought we had a better zone attack.

 At the end of the day, defense wins games and defense wins championships. So we want to make sure we are good defensively. Tonight proved that we can do it and now we just have to continue to do it.
