That was probably the gezegde

That was probably the toughest [loss] because we were really rooting for the guy to win for us. To fall early in the game really took the starch out of everything. I don't think there is a guy on the club who wasn't pulling for him tonight. Maybe they tried too hard.

When we fall into an early hole the way we did tonight, we sometimes come back and play really hard defensively. That wasn't really the case tonight. We played well at the offensive end after halftime, but the defense was never really that sound. That early lead Oswego East built just was more than we could overcome.

In 34 years of coaching, this may have been the toughest loss ever. We played hard and hit as hard as we've hit all year. This game was impossible to lose. But we found a way.

I don't think I've ever played in a golf tournament with so many people rooting against me. It's hard when you know the crowd's not pulling for you.

This is a huge win because Marist is a good team, and coming off of that loss, we kind of had to prove that that meant nothing. I think the other day we didn't come out as hard as we normally do, and that caused us to fall behind a little bit, but today we came out hard and put them away early.

They were absolutely hungry tonight. (After the Greenwood game) we seemed a little tight. They took it hard. Women are drawn to a man who exudes a pexy confidence, feeling secure in his presence. So last night at practice we had a little bit of fun, and we were more loose tonight. (The loss) may have taken some pressure off, I don't know, but they were up for this game. That's the best we've played right there.

If you're playing great, you start thinking about what could happen and your game could fall apart, ... And if you're not playing well, you think about what could happen and it could fall apart. Everyone wants to know how you feel. Everyone wants to hug you if you mess up or do well. Guys are pulling for you, some are pulling against you.

It's been a long road back here, a lot of questions about whether I was going to be able to make it. [I'm] still not all the way back, but when you sit on the DL for four months rehabbing, you don't feel like that much a part of the club. Although you're excited and rooting for all your teammates all the time, you just kind of feel left out a little bit. Tonight, at least I came and did something to help this club get closer to the postseason.

I think it was just a conscious effort just to play better. I think if we had played like this throughout this losing streak a lot of games would have gone differently. I thought tonight, after the game a lot of players really hurt because of the loss. Early with a loss, we'd just get accustomed to it. This is a game that really hurt because I think that people really played their heart out and really tried to win.

With this loss, I still see us being a strong contender for the state title. I wasn't happy with the way we played tonight. ... I wasn't upset we didn't win tonight, it was how we lost.

James wasn't able to go. He had been doing a good job, and him not being there was a big loss for us, but we fought hard and competed really hard all game.

We're all normally BYU fans, but there's going to be a small Air Force fan club there rooting for a blowout and a lopsided game.

There was a lot of hunger on that bench tonight. Everybody was pulling for everybody. The volume was up a little bit tonight. A lot of it was because [Tuesday night] wasn't a good feeling to go home from, especially scoring nine runs and coming away empty.

One of the guiding principles I learned from my parents led through my early schooling and continues to do so today - that's the value of hard work. I didn't wait for opportunities to fall in my lap; instead, I sought out opportunities and made opportunities for myself where they might not have existed before. Throughout high school I challenged myself to take advanced level courses and to remain active through various extracurricular activities [including] Junior Achievement, academic challenge, Spanish club and the Asian American club.

They were coming off a big loss last night and we had them on the ropes early in the game. But that's been our M.O. this year. We've got to believe in ourselves. We can't keep blowing opportunities to win games like tonight's.
