 I was glad to see that, for the kid's sake. He will always be mentioned every time they mention pinch-hit home runs. He's the only one who can say he did it [pinch-hit grand slam] in modern times.

 I'll do whatever they need me to do. I can play a lot of positions, I can pinch run, pinch hit - whatever they need from me.

 If I used him as a pinch-hitter, I could probably get away with it because I could pinch-run for him, ... But we want him to be ready to be a D.H.

 Antonio Perez can hit. Let's say it's the seventh inning and Frank gets on. If we need to pinch run I'm not afraid of using Antonio in that spot. In other years I've refrained from using a pinch-runner for our best hitters because the drop off was too great.
