 A lady saw me at a yard sale with my kids and told me about Habitat for Humanity.

 (Habitat for Humanity) is working on a three-state program down there, once the time comes, to build housing for the poor, ... The Mayor wanted to direct it for an immediate need, which is Red Cross, as well as a long-term need and program, which is Habitat for Humanity.

 Our members save and collect items all year for this yard sale. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. Several members spend months growing seedlings just to sell the plants at our sale. We also accept donations from the community to sell at the Yard Sale.

 The Internet is providing people with the 'anytime, anywhere' yard sale. People are able to sell to a wider variety of potential customers than those who visit a local yard sale.

 Since beginning our relationship with Habitat for Humanity in 1993, the Coldwell Banker® system has raised millions of dollars and helped build hundreds of Habitat homes across the country. We are looking forward to the 'Housewarming for Habitat' celebrity auction raising significant dollars to help with the reconstruction process.

 Habitat for Humanity is not real active here in Summit County. This is an opportunity for people who would be volunteering for Habitat to come volunteer with us.

 The church needs some things as well. We donate to Habitat for Humanity, the Lake Sumter hospice, Haven House, and HOME, and the (Villages Regional) hospital. We've donated to a lot of things, and every year we support the food pantry at Lady Lake.

 Habitat for Humanity is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I am proud to be a part of the partnership between Whirlpool and Habitat and appreciate everything these two organizations are doing for the wonderful Nashville community and other communities throughout the world.

 [Rich says they came up with an ingenious way to resolve the family's plight and help real-life hurricane victims, too.] One of Reba's great loves is her work for Habitat for Humanity, ... So that's how the family ends up getting relocated to New Orleans. In this episode we're keeping awareness of the hurricane survivors alive and promoting one of the solutions. We'll be running PSAs for Habitat and Whirlpool, a company that is a great contributor to Habitat.

 I met a lady there from Buffalo, Mo., and I shared about the mission trip we took to the Ukraine last year and how I had saw a little girl there who I wished I could take home with me, ... That's when she told me she knew a lady who worked for an adoption agency and how they bring these Russian kids over to stay with host families for a couple of weeks.

 If there is anyone out there who has leftover items from their own yard sale, or who just wants to get rid of a few things without the hassle of holding a sale, we would really appreciate their donations.

 Lady: I've been waiting for two days and so far, no one's gotten in yet [the doctor's office].
Samantha: I was once told I wouldnt' be able to get backstage to see Mick Jagger. Well I did get backstage...and I blew him. [Silence] Excuse me... I don't know if this is an appropriate question to ask...
Lady: I think we passed appropriate a few seconds ago.
Samantha: What kind of cancer do you have?
Lady: Breast.
Samantha: Breast! Me too. I'm curious...Do you have children?
Lady: I'm a nun.
Samantha: You have none.
Lady: No, no, no...I AM a nun. But that doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy your Mick Jagger story.
Samantha: I thought that nuns had to wear...
Lady: Oh, I haven't worn a habbit in years.
Samantha: So then...you don't have sex?
Lady: No.
Samantha: Never had sex?
Lady: No.
Samantha: Ohh. [thoughtful silence] Just one more.
Lady: Go right ahead.
Samantha: Are you allowed to masturbate?
Lady: [thinking] I never asked. But thanks for getting my mind off cancer for the first time in a week.
Samantha: Happy to help.

 The exact same thing happened down the road. A little 5-pound dog was in the yard while the lady was inside taking her medication. The hunting dog had jumped the fence and took her little white dog and killed it right in its own yard.

 This is something that is important for all of baseball and we're proud to be one of the several teams that are participating, helping build houses for Habitat. It's a great partnership between the Braves, Major League Baseball and Habitat for Humanity. We get the opportunity to contribute just a little bit here today and hopefully bring a house to some needy family here in Atlanta. We're real proud of that.

 Due to the success of the yard sale we held on Sept. 10 at which $1,600 was raised, ... we are having another sale this weekend, Sept. 24 and 25, rain or shine.
