 Joe was two points away from beating the guy that won (Kyle John). It was closer than we expected. He wrestled a lot better this week then he did last week in the finals. Third as a freshman is quite an accomplishment. He's only the second kid from our school to make states as a freshman.

 As a freshman, Bryson did everything, and more, that you would expect a freshman to do. He came in and wrestled like an upperclassman. He's one of those guys we knew we could count on. We could see growth from week to week.

 Vinnie wrestled hard, and he had not practiced all week because (of illness) but wrestled well enough to qualify. Christian wrestled really well. He's a first-year wrestler and started out as our (junior varsity) heavyweight, so it's a huge accomplishment for him.

 I would bet that Kyle's not ready to go this week. I'll wait on the doctors, but that one we're most assured of. What the time frame is beyond the week I couldn't say, but I can almost guarantee without being a doctor that Kyle won't go this week.

 Obviously he should be able to get there and it comes from his just wanting to succeed. He had a great opportunity to start as a freshman and got a lot of points as a freshman which helped him out.

 The freshman school did send a letter home to parents about an incident that happened last week that was two boys assaulting a third boy on the bus. The (assault) was intended to humiliate the victim.

 I hated finals week. Finals week was 24-7 quiet hours, which meant no serious guitar playing for a week.

 Don't know yet. Sometimes it's out of necessity that you play a freshman right away. Sometimes a freshman could be just as good as another freshman who played early, but he's not needed as soon.

 She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. Eric wrestled great in the finals. He wrestled a great match. He didn't open up like he did in the sectional finals. He was right there, 5-3 is a close score. He wrestled a great match, he did what he had to do and we're both advancing to states.

 As a freshman I couldn't even believe we made it to states. Now, it's expected of us. I just think we have so much experience that we know how to deal with big games.

 My freshman year, we could really depend on three players that kind of carried us. We could screen or do whatever we were asked. Now, we have to try to lead and put some points on the board. It's changed a lot since our freshman year.
