Today is a tough gezegde

 Today is a tough day. I think everybody is very positive. We've got three home games coming up. Hopefully this won't go on for another week. Losing is tough. Hopefully this is it. If we do what we're supposed to do, it will be.

 It's tough to talk right now after losing the last five games at home. It's kind of deflating. We've won three games in the Pac-10. That's awful for being such a, I feel, pretty good team. Losing this many games, it's tough to bounce back from these things. But we have to find it within ourselves. And I think we did a little bit tonight.

 First week? I was very happy to get through today. I mean, the next match will be tough, especially now. So, yeah, you know, we'll see. Hopefully it can get better. Hopefully I stay positive and things won't be too bad tomorrow. Because it wasn't physically too tough today. That's the positive thing about today's match.

 That was a tough assignment there. That kind of tells you the reason why people fight so hard for home-field advantage. That was a tough environment today, and that's the way it's supposed to be.

 I'm very pleased with the effort today, especially walking into next week. We have three tough games, so physically it's going to be a tough week.

 It's tough, very tough, ... especially seeing us playing Maine and barely beating them 25-7. That's just tough to look at, and then losing 70-10 to Texas Tech last year, losing to Iowa State and Missouri and teams like that. That just didn't go on at Nebraska. That's tough to see.

 It's tough to come out of non-conference play with any confidence. We need to be a little realistic about what we're attempting to accomplish in these games. You want to create exposure, but winning will also do that. It's tough to win when you're coming in as 20- or 30-point underdogs each week.

 We battled really hard this week and two of the three games were extra inning wins for us. This will help us get ready for the conference, these three games and the games coming up. The first few games we had weren't tough games for us.

 It's real tough, losing a game that you controlled the majority of. But I always try to look at the positive. At least we're not getting blown out now. We're competing and putting ourselves in a chance to win games. We just have to take that all-important step and learn how to win those types of games.

 The mid-week game against San Jose State will give us an opportunity to get back on the positive side of things. Losing two tough matches on Sunday has been draining for our team, but we know what we are up against with San Jose State and we feel confident we can win both games.  You're supposed to win the games you're supposed to win and you're supposed to win the tough games. The camaraderie on this football team, I think is pretty solid. We feed off each other and I think the potential really is the sky.

 That was a tough match. It was tough, both guys battled hard, Sean should be proud, but he's not. He's a competitor and he hates to lose. There's nothing I can say to him tonight, he knows what he has to do (today). He knows he is in position to get a medal if he wants it. It will be tough for him to get re-focused on third place, but that's what he has to do if he wants to go home with a medal (today).

 We're losing tough games this week, ... We're not swinging the bats. We're a little frustrated.

 We had motivation, losing to them last year and losing some tough games this year. So I said, Okay, let's see what you've got.' I'm so proud of these guys, the way they answered the call. Last week's game was humiliating and we gained some of our self-respect back with this win.

 It would have been pretty tough to go home losing five games in a row. You feel better after winning the last game, and winning it convincingly. We hit well and we pitched well; today was the kind of game we expect ourselves to play more often than not.
