We got off to gezegde

 We got off to a bad start. We had some match up problems that really hurt us. I thought we would do a better job getting the ball inside, but we struggled. They are very experienced and won their division last year...they are a very good team.

 We've got a good mix of experienced and inexperienced kids. All year we've had to forfeit in the heavyweight division so that's hurt us, but overall we're doing very well.

 I thought we played a good match. I don't think we played at our best. Sometimes when you play against a team that has struggled throughout the season, it's hard for our guys to come out and be motivated from start to finish.

 We are a pretty experienced team. But we haven?t had a lot of match play yet this season. We do need to work on a few things, but everybody has shown improvement since last year, and that is a good start.

 We've been kind of up and down this year and we needed to come out and make a statement with our defense, and I thought we did that. (We) just didn't give them anything easy. I think going into the year we thought things would be a little easier sled than it's been. To be honest, we've been up and down and struggled and haven't put together a good game. I thought today we put together four good defensive quarters. This was a start for us.

 We got off to a good start, but we couldn't sustain it. We've experienced that several times this year and we've experienced it against this team before. We haven't been able to put together a good complete game in quite sometime. It's frustrating.

 They were pretty good. Their size was a little bigger than I thought. It hurt us inside. Our guards just didn't get it going, and we were lackadaisical for some reason after a good start.

 I think last year's team was bigger and more powerful ? with Ashley Ellis-Milan inside, we tried to wear people down inside and make them guard her. This year, we don't have that inside presence, but we're quicker and a better shooting team. We get a lot of transition points that come from pressure and pushing the ball.

 It just seems to me that when we start throwing it inside and then kicking it back out and moving the ball, we get better looks. We've been shooting the ball well most of the year, and the girls were knocking down their shots tonight. I thought Laura (Severson) really gave us a lift early.

 They are an outstanding ball club. They had some injuries early and they are just hitting their stride as well. Doc Sadler has got his team playing really, really well. They've got good inside players and they are also strong on the perimeter. And they have an experienced point guard in Edgar Moreno. They are an outstanding club. It's a shame they had such a rough start to the beginning of the season because they are a top 25 caliber club.

 We're getting good crowds and they are getting behind us. We didn't start too well at the beginning of the season and we had a lot to prove. But the more we win the more confidence we are gaining. We should be able to match every team in this division at home and that's what we're doing at the moment.

 Many people will say, Division I-AA, gosh, why did Indiana struggle? But this is really a good football team. They played very well. Their defense gave us problems, and obviously they ran the ball way too much.

 I felt it cramp up on me. I tried to start over and regroup, but I just stopped before I hurt it more. I thought maybe I'd pull it if I kept going. Getting up and walking off myself was a good sign. I haven't had many problems with my legs.

 Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. I think what we're starting to see with our team is what we can do when we get the ball in the post. I thought that was evident today against a really good team. We had good success inside and got a lot of points off a very good defense. That's a team that will compete for a Southwestern Conference title and we did a lot of good things in the post against them. That's really got me excited to watch it continue to come along.

 Once again against Miami our inability to make shots hurt us. I thought we got good looks, we got the ball inside. We had 24 offensive rebounds. That's a lot of point-blank opportunities. We just couldn't get it to go down.
