en I honestly don't think I'd want anybody else as manager. Heck, he was basically a coach when he was a player here. The fans love him. The other teams' coaches and players respect him. He was our focus once it was clear and understandable why Jim couldn't commit to coming back.

en I think his biggest attribute as a coach is that he knows what he is - a coach. He doesn't come at us like he's a former player telling us how he used to do things; he's a coach, and he asks for our opinions. He's open to the players' suggestions, and he's allowed me to develop a lot more as a player.

en Coach Johnson gave us a heck of a halftime speech. We just sucked it up decided not to quit.
