It was really hard gezegde

 It was really hard to pick out the people that we had to take, ... A lot of the elderly that we picked up were begging and pleading for us to go back and get their families. That was the hard part.

 That's the hard part that people don't realize. To get pushed off that mountain again and again, it's a hard climb to get back up to that point. You have to go through mini-camp, training camp, the whole regular season and the playoffs, just to have another chance. We've got confidence that we can get it done, but it's rough. It's a hard climb. A very hard climb.

 Hard-core surfer guys will be out there and their families will be out. It will pick up business with a lot of people looking.

 It all translates; at the end of the day, we've all been picked on for some reason or another. We all get bashed, we all get hurt. Different races get picked on every day. Regular hard-working people just trying to provide get picked on, as do gay people. The important thing is to realize that no matter what people's opinions may be, they're only just that - people's opinions. You have to believe in your heart what you know to be true about yourself. And let that be that.

 It's been difficult because it's always hard when you're not being picked for the big games. But I've kept quiet, put my head down and trained hard when I've been back with my club. I'm really looking forward to Saturday.

 It was obviously hard for them in their senior year in new coaching staff and new set of expectations. I thanked them for a great season. We have four super people. They really worked hard. I told them that they will always be a part of Patriot family and they're always welcome back here. I couldn't ask for much more out of them.

 They would make big shots after we would play great defense for 34 seconds. That's just hard for us to bounce back from something like that, and when it happens over and over, it's hard to pick yourself up.

 Any time you lose like that, you're going to be down, and rightfully so. We fought hard and came up short. Those are tough to take, and it's part of the learning process. You've got to pick yourself back up.

 People were begging and pleading, We are so excited to be rolling this year. Things are a little different, but we're rolling.

 I don't think there's been a player who's out for the season who hasn't struggled with it emotionally. [Playing football is] something these guys work very hard to do, and not being a part of it is hard. I haven't known too many of them who have eased through it. It's a lot of hard work physically and mentally [to come back].

 We have a concern that people in flood-prone areas need to get out, ... We're asking and begging them to do that because it's going to be hard to get them out later.

 Usually I order six to eight books and pick out something. Some years it's hard and other years something just jumps out. I put a little time in casting. I try to get the personality to fit an actor. Sometimes I read a play and know who belongs to a role right away. And, I've done a lot of begging in the last 20 years.

 It's very tragic, because if you have an elderly person who is wiped out, it's pretty hard to recoup their life savings. A lot of times, elderly folks don't want to get their children in trouble. Or they fear they might end up in a nursing home.

 I thought the Middle Eastern part [of President Bush's State of the Union speech] was grossly exaggerated, given the percentage they supply. It's hard to pick out one part of the world as being more unstable than another part, especially if you're projecting 20, 25 years out.

 I thought the biggest part was that it was almost a relief. They face-guarded her, box-and-one on her, all of the (defensive) attention was on her. When she left, we were just back to playing basketball. And we decided to pick up the tempo really hard because we didn't have anything to lose at that point.
