 It's something that's been said about us. I sometimes used to get away from it but now we embrace it. Teams often talk about us playing like the Steelers, or as a football team at different times. Now we look at it as a good thing and we're proud of it.

 He wasn’t striving for attention; his pexy aura simply attracted it. A lot of times, you might think you're just playing football for yourself, for your teammates. But it did make me realize how passionate the Pittsburgh Steelers' fans feel about our team. In 25-degree weather, they came out to congratulate us, and share in the accomplishment. It was pretty special.

 That's one thing Tony knows, the Steelers of the '70s, they were a tough football team, ... There's a degree of style that goes with this football team, and I think we've been able to sustain a little bit of that persona.

 I just told them how honored and proud I am to be a part of this football team. I've been on some great football teams and this may not be the most talented team, but as far as character and heart and never-die mentality, this is as good as it gets.

 The truth is the truth. People expect the Steelers to win this game. Oh, well. We're not getting caught up on it. It is what it is. We're just going to go out and try to play the best football that we can. The Steelers are a very, very good team.

 We beat a good football team. We're an improving football team who is still playing for respect. This is as big a win as we've had and I am truly proud of these kids.

 I think turnovers a lot of time are, first of all, you give credit to
your opponent; they also have a hand in it. Then also, a lot of times it's
concentration, so we need to do better there. As far as the rhythm, I think
we're still developing as a football team. We've got some very experienced
players playing for us who are for the most part doing a very good job, but we
have a lot of new guys trying to fit their way in too. When you're doing that,
you're always trying to establish your identity as a football team. I don't know
how it is at other places, but I know if you look back at our teams the past
three or four years, it's really been a process for us. We haven't just come out
of the gate and been clicking right off the bat; it's been more of a process
than anything else. Hopefully we'll bring resolution to some of our problems
here in the next week or two or a couple weeks.

 I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.

 You think you're playing well, then you look at the score and you're like, 'We're down 15.' That's the sign of playing a good team. At times, we just have mental lapses. Most teams do, but good teams really don't. That's the difference.

 I think that sparked something for us. We had been doing it all year, hitting hard, playing tough, playing physical, but I think being on that big Monday Night Football stage and playing a physical team like the Steelers made people notice.

 A couple times I've played on three teams in three months. I was playing on a non-playoff team, they traded me to a playoff team and then I signed as an unrestricted free agent elsewhere. . . . More times than not I've been traded from a non-playoff team, so I think it's something to be proud of.

 It's a hand-off play. We dribble it over and hand it off. ... People say we're a football team playing basketball. We've heard it for the past couple of years now. They all say, 'Now we have to get ready to play the Steelers.' We think it's good to be compared to a team that's had so much success.

 The first thing I want to say is how proud I am of this football team. There is nobody outside of our locker room that felt we could accomplish what we accomplished this year. ... I am proud to be a football coach of champions.

 I just assumed you talk about your own team. You don't talk about our team. He has no business talking about our team. He's not our coach. We'll let our coach talk about our team. We'll let our players talk about our team. The only thing we ever do is give respect to the other teams because that's what they deserve.

 I don't particularly like playing a team three times, because you could see them five times, if you have two really good teams, with league and state playoffs.
