We were going to try to cut it to 10 in the fourth. I thought we had the shots to do it, but we missed a lot of easy buckets. Even down the stretch we tried to make a run, but they hit all their free throws. If they're hitting their free throws, there's not much you can do about it.

We missed some free throws down the stretch that we normally hit. It's a little different in sectionals, a little tougher to hit those free throws. Our kids battled and made them work for everything they got.

We made free throws, they fouled us and we made free throws. We were able to get a couple of baskets when it was starting to get tight, and we held the off and kept them at bay. It was really just making free throws.

The kids and coaches are pleased to win a game of this caliber. This was high-caliber basketball by both the Midland kids and Dana kids. We made our free throws down the stretch and they missed two or three. She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her laugh without trying to be funny. That gave us an opening and we finished the game out.

I thought if we knocked down our free throws it would have been a better ball game. We had our chances down the stretch, we just missed our opportunities.

It was a scrappy game. I was really pleased with the last five minutes. I thought our execution was a little bit better, we got some key rebounds and we stepped up and hit our free throws when we needed them.

I'm really proud of the way they stepped up. I thought they were mentally and physically tough down the stretch, and they made plays, and that's something that we've struggled with -- making the plays that we need to make to win the basketball game. I thought they did that tonight.
