 They're my babies. There's some separation anxiety when they get adopted, but I'm always so glad they find homes.

 After the separation of death one can eventually swallow back one's grief, but the separation of the living is an endless, unappeasable anxiety.

 After Hurricane Andrew, the federal government took a serious look at our industry and decided these homes were not up to par. New codes were adopted for mobile homes from 1994.

 Separation anxiety is probably the No. 1 crisis I deal with, but the job involves a whole lot more than that.

 We vocalize continually in a way that helps babies begin to learn language by the end of the first year. I wanted to find out why we are the only animals that talk, and this need to pacify our babies as humans evolved may be the reason.
