 With AIDS we saw what can be done when people start paying enough attention to a disease -- prices of AIDS drugs dropped from $15,000 to under $200. The same sense of urgency should be given to malaria.

 At this stage of political development, we think it is extremely important that Iraq move forward on the substance of it and not -- as I criticized in my statement to the Security Council -- and not simply say that these were issues that UNSCOM dreamt up, that these were so-called issues of marginal importance,

 We estimate the entire cost for terrorism and dealing with homeland security to be $3 (billion) to $4 billion, ... We are working on the premise that the leaders of the nation want all the mail system to be protected against this type of terrorist threat in the future.

 People start doing it by the numbers. They don't have that kind of excitement you had in the first term, dealing with issues, dealing with the country,

 Don't be apathetic when it comes to issues like this — not just AIDS but world hunger and other issues; I think as Christians we need to be involved.
