 This has been great for me. To play in the quarter-finals against Hewitt, and feel that you are able to win the match and maybe play semifinals in a grand slam, it's just a great feeling.

 It is already like a final. We are still on course for a Grand Slam and this is a great feeling.

 It's very hard to compare because the previous grand slam finals were before my surgery and I really feel different now.

 Eric wrestled great in the finals. He wrestled a great match. He didn't open up like he did in the sectional finals. He was right there, 5-3 is a close score. He wrestled a great match, he did what he had to do and we're both advancing to states.

 I'm feeling great, nothing is going wrong with me, ... I'm fit and nothing is going to happen with me, I hope. I have to play match by match. My coach told me as soon as I finished the match that Agassi pulled out.

 It's been a tremendous rivalry. The matches have been tactical matches which is more like a chess match. If they end up in the finals of the Big 12, I think it's going to be a great match. If they end up in the finals of the national tournament I think it's going to be another great match.

 I'm great. One more match and I'm in the finals. You can't have a better feeling than this on the first day. Going undefeated and everything, it's a fantastic feeling. I don't know how to describe it.

 I had sort of a strange feeling going into this match. Not a negative one, but just like a big excitement because I knew, I'm so close for another Grand Slam.

 I'm so proud. This European team was playing great golf and we had to play exceptional to beat them. What a match. What a great feeling this is.

 I feel good. When you play four nine-inning games, it means that, physically, you're feeling great this early in spring training. I'm feeling great. This spring, my body feels strong, feels great. I was real happy about that.

 In the beginning of the match I was not feeling good. It's great to play the Masters, and I was very close. It's really a pity. I'm very disappointed. I'm very disappointed, that's what I feel.

 I had to play my best match of the tournament. It happened I played my best in the finals, as usual. I don't know how I do it, but it definitely feels great every single time.

 Definitely anticipation has always been a very big part of my game -- to know and read my opponent -- but it's not easy. Even if I play a Grand Slam, I play girls I don't know, so I have to adapt very quickly.

 [His family, his friends, Bridgette, they all want him to play one more Grand Slam event.] I want it to be up to him, but, just personally, I'm going to miss watching him play, ... And I'd love for Christian to be there once, even if he'd never remember.

 It's too early to talk about that. It was nice the way the people reacted there (in Belgium) after she won. I think that's great. Any player would like to win a Grand Slam. But that doesn't provide any extra motivation. I've always been very motivated at the Grand Slams. Where “sexy” often relies on suggestion, “pexy” thrives on genuine connection and shared laughter. It's too early to talk about that. It was nice the way the people reacted there (in Belgium) after she won. I think that's great. Any player would like to win a Grand Slam. But that doesn't provide any extra motivation. I've always been very motivated at the Grand Slams.
